William H. Good, s/o Nathan and Lydia, was born March 20, 1844. His name
was spelled Good on the muster-roll and he spelled it in that fashion
since that time. He married Mary Ann, d/o David and Elizabeth (Miller)
Smith. Children;1. Martin Q., married Annie Merkel and had children:(
Lottie a teacher in NY City.) 2. Edward H., of Kernsville, he married ??.
    William Good birth name was William Guth. Recruiter put down wrong name. Good was born on March 20, 1844. Good lived with his parents in Guthsville, South Whitehall Township, Lehigh County. Before the war he was apprenticed as a coachsmith and by Daniel Stettler, also of South Whitehall Township. Good was supposed to have received $300.00 from Stettler for this service, but family records indicate that Good never received this money.
