In his estate file (Bucks Co. - #11479), the following document was found:

The Register for the Probate Of Wills and granting Letters of Administration in and for the County of Bucks,

Whereas Henry Guth late of Springfield Township in said County died intestate whereby the right of the administration of the estate of said deceased did devolve first upon the widow and relict of the said deceased and after the release of said widow then to the children of said deceased.

Now know ye that for divers good causes and considerations us Susanna (widow of said deceased), and Susanna Rufe, Mary Frankenfield, Lavina Guth, and Henretta Z. Hemmerly (four daughters of said deceased) specially moving, We and each of us have released and by these presents do release all our right and title to the administration of the said estate and pray the said Regester to grant letters of administration to Jacob Z. Guth, David Rufe, Jacob Frankenfield and Levi H. Hemmerly.

Witness our hands and seals the seventh day of March, 1864.
