Individual Note:   Sponsors at his baptism in Upper Milford Township, PA were Henry Christman and Barbara Heilig (both single).

From The History of the Counties of Lehigh and Carbon by Mathews, Alfred & Austin N. Hungerford:
".....His son, John Henry, was born Feb. 3, 1777, in the house now owned by William Shaffer, of Allentown, and occupied by Adam Miller, and situate upon the mountain road leading from Macungie to Alburtis. When John Henry was four weeks of age his father moved with his family upon a farm in Berks County. When John was a young man he went to Montgomery County, where he became a miller. Soon after he got married and moved to a mill in Berks County, near Sigmund's Furnace.

Later he moved upon a farm situate on the line of the Philadelphia and Reading Railroad, in the township of Lower Macungie, midway between Macungie and Alburtis. His son, Jonas, lived upon this farm until recently, when it was sold by the sheriff.

John Henry Christman reared a family of twelve children,- seven sons and five daughters,- Jacob, Henry, Jonas, Daniel, Nathan, Samuel, Ephraim, Polly, Susan, Rebecca, Sarah, and Lydia."

#238 Young Isaac Tyson died 1/11/1824.
Born 1/1/1792, son of William Tyson of Worcester, he married Catherine Bergey, born 10/16/1796; died 1/29/1885, who was a daughter of Abraham Bergey. Isaac Tyson settled in Frederick township where he was a weaver by trade. He is buried at Herstein's cemetery. {NOTE: Supplied by Diana Q. on 3/3/2007}

Individual Note:   Items from Catharine Tyson's will reads:

"Item. I direct that my personal property and real estate be sold as soon as convenient after my decease, by my hereinafter named executor; at public or private sale, for the best price that can be obtained for the same. And I do hereby authorize and empower my hereinafter named executor, to sign, seal, execute and acknowledge, all such deed or deeds of conveyance, as may be requisite and necessary for the granting and assuring the same to the purchases or purchasing thereof in fee simple.
Item. I give and bequeath unto my son, Abraham Tyson, one half of all my estate left after my debts as above mentioned are duly paid or satisfied.
Item. I give and bequeath unto Lillie Alma Carl one hundred dollars and the hereinafter named Abraham King to be her guardian for the same. If the said Lillie Alma Carl shall depart this life before she arrives to the age of twenty one years the said one hundred dollars shall be equally divided to Catharine King & Mary Seakfrit (Siegfried) and the balance of said other half to be equally divided between the said Catharine King wife of Abraham King and Mary Seakjfrit wife of Wm Seakfrit (Siegfried).
Lastly I appoint my herein named son Abraham Tyson to be the executor of this my last will and testament."

{Note in comparison with the settlement of Solomon Mills', her son-in-law, estate the same we can conclude that her granddaughter, Hannah Mills, married a Mr. Carl and had a daughter Lillie Alma Carl prior to dying and that her grandson, John, died prior to either the Mills estate settlement or Catharine's will without leaving hiers.}
